The architectural beauty of Fisher Lodge reflects the talent and dedication of the 13 senior architecture students at the University of Washington who designed and built the lodge in 1968, marking the beginning of Camp Brotherhood’s four decades of excellent hospitality and service.
Farm Animals
In this day, age, and culture, we have become more
and more isolated from the source of things basic to the sustenance of life. Our working farm provides a wonderful opportunity to re-connect with the animals who provide so much that we need every day. Children who have never left the city get to feed our goats, feel the power of a nearby cow, interact with the bunnies and feed an emu! When we shear our sheep and alpacas, guests get a lesson on where wool comes from!
Spring of 2009 saw the arrival of 6 calves, including the first pair of twins ever born at Camp Brotherhood! Thanks to Phil Corey, Paul Nakashima, Randal Graham and Melanie Corey for their loving care of these newborns and their mamas. Our staff take “other duties as assigned” very seriously!!
If you would like to support the continuation of our petting farm, consider making a gift to feed a cow for a year, or build a horse shelter for an anticipated arrival! Take a look at all the animals that live in the camp: Click here.
